Overview
Chromis does not use third-party tracking. The app stores settings such as codec, resolution, frame rate, dynamic range, monitor assists, haptics, audio preferences, LUT selections, and project state so the workspace can behave consistently between launches.
Media And Project Data
Videos, imported LUT files, saved looks, export files, and camera tracking packages are handled on the device unless you choose to export, save, share, or move them using system tools.
Camera, Microphone, And TrueDepth Data
Chromis uses the camera to provide a live preview and record video. When you enable Camera Tracking, Chromis uses ARKit to derive camera-motion data while recording. On supported devices, front-camera Camera Tracking uses the TrueDepth camera through ARKit for face tracking.
Chromis stores recorded video and camera-tracking packages locally on your device. A camera-tracking package contains camera pose, camera intrinsics, image resolution, and tracking-quality information. Chromis does not create or store a face map, face geometry, biometric identifier, or identity profile.
Chromis uses the microphone only when you enable Record Audio. The resulting audio is stored with the video locally on your device.
Sharing, Retention, And Your Choices
Chromis does not upload, sell, share, use for advertising, or use camera, microphone, TrueDepth, or project data for cross-app tracking. Chromis does not share this data with third parties. Data remains on your device until you delete the relevant clip or project, or remove the app. Data leaves your device only when you explicitly export, save, or share it using system tools.
You can revoke Camera and Microphone access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security. You can delete media and project data in Chromis or by removing the app.
Device Access
Chromis uses device capabilities required for camera recording, audio recording when enabled, storage availability checks, and local preference storage. These capabilities support the product features and are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Website Data
This static website does not include analytics scripts, advertising pixels, sign-in forms, or account creation. If that changes in the future, this policy should be updated before those features are shipped.
